Thank you for visiting our newly constructed website. The goal of this site is to keep you informed and up to date on the plans we are making for our 20 year reunion. In the absence of our class President, Lisa, I have taken on the enormous responsibility of trying to fill Lisa’s shoes. Believe me this is no easy task! Lisa is doing well but is extremely busy with her three small children and we miss her tremendously!
Because we are committed to producing an event to remember, it is our sincere desire to reach as many of our former classmates as possible. With this in mind, we are asking for everyone’s help to track down and locate classmates. If you know where any of our former classmates are, please send us their contact information. You can also find a list of our missing classmates by clicking the “Missing Alum” link at the top of this page.
We started this process early intentionally. Planning an event like this takes time and a great deal of work. The committee has been hard at work since October of 2007. From our Friday night cocktail hour to our Sunday afternoon picnic, no detail has been overlooked. We hope that you will leave this event with lasting memories of a wonderful weekend.
I suspect that many of you may wonder why we chose a venue in San Ramon rather than one in Livermore. Although we do have a “frequently asked questions” section on this website, I felt that it was important for me address this personally. We spent many hours visiting and meeting with prospective venues in Livermore. The entire committee agreed that our first choice was to hold the event in our home town. Unfortunately, the only decent venue that could hold our estimated number of guests was (financially) out of our reach. We searched high and low for a venue that not only met our standards, but was also affordable. The moment we saw The Bridges we knew it was the perfect place. We hope that you feel the same way.
In closing, I would like to take an opportunity to thank the people that have volunteered their time and energy to our committee. I am very excited to be working with them and I have no doubt that we are all in for an amazing weekend. The time and dedication that each committee member has, and will continue to put into this process is the reason I am very confident that this event will be one to remember.
I look forward to seeing you all in September of 2009!
Sincerely,
Gino VanGundy
President
